2. Which personal data do I process?

I process personal data because you use my services and/or because you provide this data to me yourself. Below you'll find an overview of the personal data I process, depending on the action you take:

When filling in a quote form ('Website in 1 Day' or 'Custom'):

• First and last name
• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• All other information you enter yourself in the open fields of the form (such as your company info, goals, competitors, etc.).

When booking an appointment via the online calendar (Google Calendar):

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Company name (optional)
• Company website (optional)

For general contact (by email or phone):

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• All other information you share in your message.

3. Why do I process this data? (The legal bases)

I process your data with a clear purpose and a valid reason (legal basis):

To perform the agreement: The main reason is to be able to deliver the service you approach me for. Think of:

• Drawing up and sending a quote.
• Contacting you to discuss the details of a project.
• Carrying out the assignment (building a website, delivering SEO services, etc.).
• Sending invoices.

Legitimate interest: I have an interest in running my business properly. This includes:

• Keeping records of my clients.
• Analysing which services are popular.

4. Who do I share your data with?

I never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. I only share data when this is strictly necessary for running the business:

• Accounting software: For sending quotes and invoices.
• Email provider: For my email communication.
• Hosting provider: Where the website and email run.
• Google Calendar: For scheduling appointments.

With these parties I have (or they have as standard) a data processing agreement to ensure that they handle your data just as carefully as I do.

5. How long do I keep your data?

I do not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

• Quotes that are not accepted: I remove these from my system after 1 year.
• Client data (after a project): I keep this for as long as is legally required for the financial records (at least 7 years).
• Contact details: I keep these as long as there is contact or as long as you are a client of mine.

6. How do I secure your data?

I take the protection of your data seriously. The website uses a secure SSL connection (visible by the padlock in the address bar) to ensure that data you send via the website is encrypted. My computers and systems are also secured with appropriate technical measures.

7. Your rights: You are in control

You have the right to view, correct or have your personal data deleted. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Marketing Maatwerk.

Access, correction or deletion: Send an email to info@marketingmaatwerk.nl and I will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks.

Filing a complaint: If you feel that I do not handle your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Automated decision-making

Marketing Maatwerk does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you. All important decisions are made by a human (me, Boris).
