WPBouwidee - Custom Management Guide
Brought a fourteen-year-old WordPress site up to standard and wrote a custom management guide, so the client can manage texts, photos and projects themselves.

WPBouwidee is a construction drawing and consultancy firm in Schettens. Their website was over fourteen years old and due for a refresh. I first got the site technically up to standard with a Website Analysis: the score went from 54 to a full 100 out of 100.
Making the website ready to manage
Alongside the technical clean-up, I set up the Classic Editor, so managing texts and projects stays simple and familiar, without any hassle with blocks.
A custom management guide
The heart of this project: a clear, custom guide in the house style, with screenshots for every step. Four chapters take the client by the hand: editing texts, swapping photos, adding a project and removing a project, including managing the menu.
The result
WPBouwidee now maintains its own website independently, without technical knowledge and without being dependent on someone else for every small change.
