Commissioned by Saxion, I developed Cinergie.eu. The core was a flexible template for managing 'learning programmes', complete with reliable web hosting through Marketing Maatwerk.

Saxion's Business Models research group and the CIE focus area were looking for a professional online platform to publish their 'learning programmes' and research results.
The single most important requirement was maximum flexibility. The research group's team needed to be able to manage the website entirely on their own. They wanted to easily post new learning programmes themselves and edit existing texts, without depending on a developer for every change.
My Solution: Custom Template & Reliable Hosting
To meet this specific requirement, I delivered a complete technical solution, from the code to the server.
The core of the solution consists of three parts:
- Custom Post Type for 'Learning Programmes': I created a dedicated content type for 'Learning Programmes'. This gives the Saxion team a fixed, clear form in the backend. They simply fill in the fields and the website automatically displays it perfectly formatted on the front end.
- Flexible Content Blocks: For the other pages, I built a set of modular content blocks. This gives them the freedom to set up pages themselves, while the house style always stays sleek and consistent.
- Stable Web Hosting: The website runs on Marketing Maatwerk's web hosting. This ensures fast loading times and high reliability, essential for a university platform. It also gives them a single technical point of contact for both the website and the hosting.
The result is a durable, scalable platform that is fully managed by the client.
